Every object in the platform is a Record. In this section of the BackOffice interface, the records can be listed, more records can be added, modified, exported and imported manually if needed.

To be able to create records, new metadata schemas can be created, or, if not, the platform automatically redirects to the creation of schemas. (See 3.8.1.2 METADATA SCHEMAS).

Main view of the records

In this view the complete list of all the records stored on the platform is shown, where several filtering possibilities and options to consider are available.

Actions at the top:

  • Add Record: Adds a new record to the platform (See Add a new record)

  • Import: Adds objects from a csv file (See Import)

  • Export all: Exports all the records of the platform, choose the language and then create the export. (See Export all)

  • Export selected: Similar to "export all", but just selecting the specific records to export. (first select one or more items). (See Export selected)

  • Bulk action: Adds or removes metadata values in bulk from a selected schema metadata. (See Bulk action)

  • Bulk delete: One (or more items) is selected and then creates a task to delete multiple records in a single action

Filter records:

In this part of the section, the records can be filtered out, depending on the options selected and the keyword in the search engine. There exists also the possibility to show a certain amount of items per page.

  • Metadata schema: All records are filtered by the selected schema metadata.

  • Collection: All records are filtered by the selected collection.

  • Published: All records are filtered depending on whether the object is to be published or not.

  • Deleted: All records are filtered depending on whether the object is to be deleted or not.

Records list:

  • ID: Unique identifier of the record

  • Title: Record Name

  • Description: Description of the record

  • Collection: Collection to which the record belongs. (can belong to more than one) (See 3.4 COLLECTIONS MANAGEMENT)

  • Actions: the possible actions are: Show record in the Frontend, modify it and delete it. In addition one or more items can be selected, that will help make an Export selected, bulk action or a bulk delete.
