Collections are used for grouping records Records of the same nature, from the visitor’s perspective, are usually grouped together. The system allows for the creation of nested collections (or subcollections).
Main View of Collections
This view shows the list of all collections created with actions available for use.
Actions at the top:
+ Collection: Button to add a new collection (See Add a new collection)
Export all: Exports all the records of the platform, choose the language and then create the export. (See Export all)
Export selected: Similar to "export all", but just selecting the specific records to export. (first select one or more items). (See Export selected)
Bulk action: Adds or removes metadata values in bulk from a selected schema metadata. (See Bulk action)
Bulk delete: One (or more items) is selected and then creates a task to delete multiple records in a single action.
Hierarchy: By clicking this button a dialog box will open and present all the collections and their “children”. After clicking on one of the collections, the modification page of this collection will be shown.
Collections list:
Thumbnail: Thumbnail of the collection.
ID: Unique identifier of the collection.
Parent Collection: if the collection has a parent it will show in this column.
Name: name of the collection (a star appearing besides the name means it is a featured collection).
Description: description of the collection.
Records: records belonging to this collection.
Hidden: It will hide all the records in the collection.
Hidden on Homepage: hides the collection in the collections section of the homepage. Actions: a collection can be modified or deleted. (collections containing records cannot be deleted).
