The Metadata Schemas is a set of descriptors that define a record and its content. These Metadata Schemas vary and are required for the proper functioning of the entire preservation system.

These Metadata Schemas allow to have the descriptors of the records in order with the possibility of filtering and analyzing them for each of these schemas.

The essential aspects to take into account for the creation of a schema are:

  • The types of records that will be stored in it.
