Storage

In this section, we will determine the storage groups associated to the preservation plan. LIBSAFE will make as many copies of the object as groups belonging to the associated plan.

Note: it is considered dangerous to make one single copy of an object, since that offers no protection from storage errors, which is why the system sends a risk warning if a plan is not configured with at least two storage groups.

Storage groups are assigned with read and write access priority, which allows for a better efficiency of the system, based on access speed or saturation of the use of elements that make up the system.
