In this section, we can configure the sanitizers needed to carry out certain object-cleaning tasks before its ingestion.

There are three types of sanitizers:

  • Mandatory Sanitizers: not configurable by the user. These sanitizers are always executed in every preservation plan.

  • Folder Sanitizers: they carry out cleaning tasks at folder level.

  • File Sanitizers: they carry out cleaning tasks at file level.

Depending on which sanitizer is selected, we may –or may not– request the configuration of values applied to the sanitizer. Each type of sanitizer can be added to the same plan with different parameters, as many times as it may have been configured.
