Ingestion checks carry out checks at different levels of application on the objects, prior to their preservation. Should any configured ingestion check fail, the ingestion job would end with error. The end result is that, with the right ingestion check configuration, we can make sure that the structure and organization of the preserved objects comply with any features we may require.
We have three types of ingestion checks, based on the scope of application:
Checks for root objects: applied to the object and its root directory.
Checks for folders: applied to the object folders and their content.
Checks for files: applied to object files.
