# Preservation configuration, basic sections

There are some elements or functionalities in LIBSAFE that are necessary for the preservation. These elements each have their own section for display/management in the interface, but are not of daily use in the application.

Hereinafter, these elements are detailed and explained, together with a brief explanation of their origin.
