# DIP profile detail

In the detail of a DIP profile we can see the information related to the DIP profile in different sections.

In the *General Information* section we can see the name, description, the executable path, its status (active / inactive), if it is expected to generate log files, log files with results and if the generation of extra information file is needed.

The *Profile parameters* section shows the parameters configured for the DIP profile, the description, its default value (if any), a recommended value, the type of parameter (while configuring the DIP profile parameter, when a preservation plan is related, we will validate the information entered with the type of data configured therein), its range (if the type of data selected is numerical) and if we have a parameter that must be configured as mandatory or not.

Lastly, we see a list with all the DIP profiles configured, starting from the one being shown in the detail.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.libnova.com/libsafe-advanced-preservation-administrator-manual/preservation-configuration-basic-sections/dissemination-information-package-dip-profiles/dip-profile-detail.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
