# Automatic audit schema editing

Automatic audit schema editing is accessible from the main screen of the automatic audit schema, or from an automatic audit schema detail.

The only parameter that is allowed to be modified is the complete audit repetition schedule in the preservation plan configured.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note**: based on the quantity of preserved objects, this type of audits may end up being heavy-duty long-lasting processes. That is why it is not recommended that the audit repetition schedule has a low value. It is the preservation administrator’s responsibility to carry out the necessary verifications before modifying said parameter.
{% endhint %}
