Once the complete objects are listed on the Catalog screens, we can proceed to the selection of the objects we want to retrieve (through checkboxes), and then click on Retrieve selected button.

Once we click on such button, we will get to the retrieve confirmation screen, where we can filter one more time those objects previously selected for retrieve and apply DIP profiles individually.

In order to facilitate such process, LIBSAFE has two types of views for confirmation:

  • Simple view

  • View with objects grouped by preservation plan.

Once the objects to be retrieved are confirmed and the DIP profile to be applied is selected (if needed), retrieval will be initiated by means of the Retrieve button, which will create and initiate the retrieve job for those objects selected.

Simple view for confirmation of object retrieve

In this view, every selected object listed and previously selected for retrieval is shown. Objects may be deselected (if included from the catalog by error), and we can indicate in every object if we wish to apply a DIP profile.

View grouped by preservation plans

The view shows all the objects, previously selected from the catalog, grouped by their preservation plans. In this view, we can apply the same DIP profile configured for all objects in a preservation plan (since DIP profiles are individually assigned to each preservation plan).
