LIBSAFE is a web application, and any browser of the most commonly available ones may be used, as long as it complies with the standards defined for a web browser; it is recommended to use Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Internet Explorer. Nevertheless, the only browser officially supported by LIBSAFE is Google’s Chrome.

Access to the application needs of a user authentication with password, and is always done prior to the use of any part of it. Browsing to a non-login page redirects to this.

User and first password assignment are reserved for system administrators only.

Access may be validated both locally and through AD/LDAP. The second option will only be offered if configured in the system; and each user will only be able to choose the authentication method configured in the user’s record.
