Structure and syntax of massive metadata update files

LIBSAFE allows for the massive object metadata updates through update jobs in two different ways, to provide a higher degree of flexibility and facilitate the work of those responsible for the maintenance of the collections incorporated into the system.

• In multiple files. Each file will be referred to an object, and the operations to be performed will be specified within each file.

• In one single file. All objects and the operations to be performed on every object will be specified within this file.

In both cases, the content of the file will be structured with an XML format, the only difference being referencing the objects.
